Why I started this
Ten years ago I moved to Chiang Mai thinking I’d stay for a year or two. Somewhere along the way, this city became home.
The Chiang Mai Post grew from a simple idea: to create something slower in a world that rarely stops.
Each envelope is assembled by hand in Chiang Mai and designed to help you pause for a few moments, make a cup of coffee or tea, and enjoy something created by another pair of hands.
Whether you’ve lived here for years or have only recently arrived, I hope these letters help you notice a little more of the place we call home.
— Monica

Meet Monica
Hi, I’m Monica.
I’m the founder of CalligraFit, a brush lettering instructor, and an American who’s proudly called Chiang Mai home for nearly a decade.
I believe handwriting still matters, beautiful things deserve to be made slowly, and some stories are simply better told on paper.
I can’t wait to send the next letter your way.
